Troubleshooting

Seeing ERR_CONNECTION_RESET or another connection error? Run through the checks below to isolate whether the issue is local (VPN, proxy, browser, network) or on our side.

Quick connection test

Check whether your browser can reach AI Wallet right now.

Guided troubleshooter

Answer 6 quick questions about your network setup.

Step 1 of 6

What exactly happens when you open AI Wallet?

The failure mode narrows down whether the connection dies before, during, or after the handshake.

Common causes of ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

VPN or proxy interruption

VPNs and proxies re-route your traffic. If their tunnel drops mid-request, the browser sees the connection reset before the page finishes loading.

  1. Disconnect your VPN or proxy and try the page again.
  2. Switch to a different VPN server location if you need the VPN active.
  3. Disable browser proxy extensions one by one to find the culprit.
  4. Try a different network (mobile hotspot) to rule out local routing.

Firewall or antivirus blocking the connection

Corporate firewalls, ISP filters, and aggressive antivirus software can drop TLS connections to certain domains or IP ranges.

  1. Temporarily disable antivirus web-shield or HTTPS scanning.
  2. If you are on a corporate network, ask IT whether getaiwallet.com is filtered.
  3. Try loading the site over a mobile hotspot to bypass the local network.

Stale or broken DNS resolution

Your device may be holding an old IP address, or your DNS resolver may return an unreachable address for getaiwallet.com.

  1. Flush your DNS cache (Windows: ipconfig /flushdns; macOS: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache).
  2. Switch to a public DNS resolver such as Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8).
  3. Restart your router to clear any carrier-grade NAT or DNS cache.

Browser cache, extensions, or HTTP/2 issues

A corrupted cache, an overzealous ad blocker, or an HTTP/2 connection stuck in a bad state can trigger ERR_CONNECTION_RESET.

  1. Hard-refresh the page: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac).
  2. Open the site in an incognito/private window with extensions disabled.
  3. Clear cache and cookies for getaiwallet.com from your browser settings.
  4. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) on the same device.

Local network instability

Weak Wi-Fi, packet loss, or an overloaded router can drop the TCP connection before the TLS handshake completes.

  1. Move closer to your Wi-Fi access point or switch to a wired connection.
  2. Restart your modem and router.
  3. Run a speed test and check for high packet loss or jitter.

A problem on our side

If our status page also reports an outage, the reset may be coming from our infrastructure rather than your device.

  1. Check the AI Wallet status page for active incidents.
  2. Wait a few minutes and try again — most transient issues resolve quickly.
  3. Contact support if the problem persists for more than 30 minutes.

Still stuck?

If none of the steps above resolve the issue, check our system status or contact support with the results of the connection test.
